Homework Nov. 2-6
**NOTE: Please be available to assist your child with homework, but remember that it is their work, and they must do the drawing, coloring, writing, etc, themselves.
Monday (Phonics & Writing): 1.) Draw or cut out 3 pictures of things that begin with Bb. Pick one of the pictures and write a sentence using the following words: “I see a (color word) (name of picture).” 2.) Write your first name 5 times with the first letter uppercase and the remaining letters lowercase.
Tuesday (Math): 1.) Draw five kids standing in line. Color the first kid red. Color the third kid blue. Color the second kid yellow. Color the fourth kid orange. Color the fifth one green. Circle the last kid in line.
Wednesday (Science/Social Studies): We are learning about modern times and long ago. Either bring in photos or draw pictures of your mother when she was a little girl, and now that she is an adult. We will compare and contrast the pictures in class.
Thursday (Language Arts): We have read the book “Goldilocks and the Bears.” Discuss and summarize your favorite part of the story (i.e. “I really liked it when….”) and draw a picture of it. Be sure to use colors and details in your drawing.
Friday (Reading activities): Read lots of books!
**Please do all assignments in your Homework Journal. Make sure to write name and date at the top of each page.
Homework Journals are due on Fridays.**
