The yearbooks have arrived!!!
We are so pleased with how beautiful these little books are, and we know you are going to love looking at them with the students. Yearbooks can still be ordered if you did not get one yet, or would like a second one. Send cash or check (made out to Karen Jenkins) for $20 to order.

Feliz Cinco de Mayo, amigos! Today we learned about the battle between Mexico and France, and how Mexicans still celebrate to this day. We learned how to do the salsa, made a traditional Mexican craft called a God's Eye, and read a story about a boy from Puerto Rico (where Ms. Ellie's family is also from). Here is a great website with the directions for the God's Eye and many more crafts and recipes for Cinco de Mayo.

The farm field trip was very fun! We saw baby goats, a rabbit, horses, ponies, and so many more animals. The kids also saw many storybook characters, like Jack and Jill and the Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe. Mrs. Jenkins is working on a slide show so you can see the kids in action at the farm.

Until then, have a super week!
